Attorney Paul M. Namie
Helping Families Overcome Legal Challenges For Over 14 Years
Paul M.Namie has represented hundreds of clients.
Paul Namie moved to Indiana after he earned his bachelors degree in History from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL in 2006. He is a graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law where he earned his J.D. as well as his Masters Degree in History. He has a passion for the law and for history and has been fortunate to be able to further both of these fields.
He has been an attorney coach for the Lewis University Mock Trial team from 2012-2018, where he has helped teach undergraduates about law and litigation. A former "mocker" himself, he has passed on his knowledge and experience in the law to undergraduates who have an interest in advocacy or public speaking. To date, he has seen numerous former students attend and graduate law school.
An avid reader, Paul likes to spend his free time reading about numerous historical time periods. He is currently focusing on the First World War and the years leading up to the conflict. Other historical topics of interest include, the Crusades, Ancient Rome, Medieval Europe, and Russian history.
Currently Paul is a member of the Lake County Bar Association where he focuses his practice on family law, mediation, paternity cases, criminal defense law, personal injury / accident law and estate planning. He also volunteers his time to assist pro se litigants by mediating their cases at the Lake County Juvenile Center. To date, he has conducted over 100 pro bono mediations in an attempt to help parents resolve their issues without court intervention.
Paul has over 14 years of legal experience dating back to his days as a law clerk in Illinois through his days as a paralegal at Sarkisian, Sarkisian & Associates, and has now concluded 4 years of practice as an attorney with the Law Offices of Moseley & Martinez. Having worked his way through the ranks of the legal profession, he is excited to take the next step and strike out on his own and put his knowledge and experience to work and continue to grow and perfect the practice of law.
On a personal note, Paul is a devoted husband to a beautiful and loving wife, father to a gorgeous daughter. He is a devoted Catholic and a member of the parish of St. John Cantius in Chicago.

Attorney Joseph Bauer
Joseph Bauer was raised in New Lenox, Illinois for most of his life before moving to Big Rapids, Michigan, where he attended Ferris State University. While in college, Joseph became a brother of Phi Sigma Kappa and was actively involved in student government and Phi Alpha Delta. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with Legal Studies and a Minor in Leadership and Operations Management, Joseph moved to Valparaiso, Indiana to attend law school. While in law school, Joseph was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Team, competing in Valparaiso, Indianapolis, Houston and Puerto Rico.
After graduating from Valparaiso School of Law in 2019, Joseph married his wife Madison Sweany (Bauer.) Together they have two sons, Waylon “Doober”, Brooks “Choopy” and a Golden Retriever named Rudy Stu.
Upon passing the Bar Exam, Joseph accepted a position at the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office where he stayed for six months. His case load consisted of; resisting law enforcement, battery, theft, false informing, auto theft, counterfeiting, fraud and other lower level felony and misdemeanor cases.
On March 13, 2020, Joseph accepted a position with the Law Office of Paul M. Namie, where he is eager to reach more members of the community and provide the legal assistance to efficiently resolve their cases.
